Over the years, Delhi has emerged as the leading Polo Centre of the country and the Army Polo and Riding Club as the leading Polo Club. The club has three regulation-size Polo fields where practice chukkers and tournaments are held. Both the fields have individual sprinkler systems and remain green throughout the year. The club also has a wooden-horse for learners. Senior members conduct occasional Polo clinics for novices. The club has approximately 30 Polo-Ponies. However, most of the active Polo players have their own Polo horses.
Polo Tournaments Delhi has two Polo seasons. The Fall Polo Season lasts from October to November while the Spring Polo Season functions through February. During these seasons, a number of tournaments are held ranging from 2 to 20 goals.
Practice Chukkers
